Made this delicious recipe tonight and it turned out great. See three bowls from right to left and in order of dipping your chicken strips: flour/egg wash/breadcrumbs
What to put in each bowl?
Flour- spices like Emerils mixed spices, garlic, pepper
Egg wash- make sure the eggs are mixed well with a fork
Breadcrumbs- Italian breadcrumbs, panko breadcrumbs, coconut flakes
Dip your sliced chicken into each bowl and then lay on a baking sheet or rack (I like to use a rack so the chicken doesn't stick to the bottom). Then place in your pre-heated 350 degree oven. Bake for 40-60 minutes or until chicken looks cooked and breading turns golden brown.
Add some Pineapple or Apricot Jelly mixed with a dash of horseradish for some extra flavor!

Labor Day BBQ Inspo
I have been searching for some awesome recipes for my family this Labor Day. And below are some recipes I found plus a random picture of a beautiful BBQ organized area. Totally want this.
sources: 1/2/3/4
The Watermelon and Jicama salad looks delish, but I've never used Jicama. Maybe I should try this once. Also the burger looks fantastic as well as the sangria. This I might be making tomorrow with my sister who is obsessed with sangrias.
Even though I am not planning on making any of the above recipes (minus the sangria), I am planning on making some BBQ chicken wings (and grilled chicken because my sister doesn't eat dark meat), I am making corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and a delicious yogurt coleslaw. To top it off, for dessert I am making a blueberry yogurt pie and a sugar free box of chocolate fudge my mom is craving before her surgery on Friday.
I will keep you updated on how they turn out! Happy Labor Day and have a great day off from work!

15 Minute Baked Tortilla Chips
Tortillas- make it healthier by using whole wheat tortillas
Garlic Powder
Basil
Coriander
Heat oven to 350. Tear up your tortillas and place on baking sheet (one layer on surface). Sprinkle Coriander, Garlic Powder, and Basil. Bake 10-15 minutes or until crunchy looking (don't let it get too brown, but some brown is fine).
